A weapon for heavy-duty area clearing
The Firethrower is a massive wooden pole that has a lighter system and a fuel ejection system connected to it. The mechanism shoots fire that deals 3d10 fire damage to all targets within its radius.
During early phases of the war, special troopers wielding this weapon were covered in armor plates and flame-resistant clothing. These troops would then jump out of landships as they passed over trenches, setting the entire area ablaze. This is still the most effective means of clearing trenches, but these weapons also have a tenacity to explode if their compartments were shot, setting the user on fire.
